Asya Washum, a seasoned finance executive and community leader, is
running to be the next City of Peoria Treasurer. With a strong
background in financial management, organizational leadership,
and civic engagement, Asya is dedicated to promoting fiscal responsibility,
transparency, and economic empowerment for the residents of Peoria.
Her experience in both the public and private sectors, combined
with her commitment to community service, uniquely qualifies her to
manage the city's finances and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer dollars.
As the next City of Peoria Treasurer, Asya Washum is committed to
bringing her expertise in financial management and her passion for
community service to the role. She aims to ensure that the city's finances
are managed transparently, responsibly, and effectively. Asya will focus
